For twenty years, only large enterprises could afford a full marketing team, a pipeline function, a content operation, an intelligence layer. Everyone else outsourced what they could and went without the rest. Not because the work wasn’t valuable. Because the overhead was impossible.
I lived that gap from the founder’s side. I knew what a well-run web presence required. I also knew what I was spending on freelancers who disappeared after launch, agencies that treated me like a small account, and platforms that handed me a site and expected me to maintain it. None of it was sustainable. None of it scaled. And none of it ran when I wasn’t actively running it.
What I wanted was different. I wanted an operations layer that could run itself: a team of AI agents, each with a specific role, that could handle the full lifecycle of a business function without the founder in the loop on every step. So I built it.
The earliest version of the argument was simple: what’s the difference between a really powerful calculator and an accountant? The calculator waits. The accountant acts. Every tool I’d tried was a calculator. What operators actually need is an accountant: something that acts on its own judgment, surfaces the exceptions that require a human, and keeps the work moving the rest of the time.
The hypothesis held. The agents are handling work that previously required either a contractor or my personal time. The operational ceiling I’d been working against started moving.
